Discovery Trail is a short, easy loop in Connecticut, about 0.2 miles long and roughly 0.3 miles from the town of Miramichi. The trail is nearly flat, with a high point of 286 feet and a low of 274 feet, and it has no elevation gain. It makes a quick stop for anyone already in the area. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 70°F and September highs around 75°F, with July the warmest month at about 84°F. The trail takes about half an hour to complete. Bridge Trail is about a mile away, and White Birch Trail and Blue-Red Trail are each about 1.5 miles off. For climbing, Chauncey Peak is about 3.4 miles away.
