That makes it a mostly flat, easy walk with a slight rise. For comfortable weather, late spring and early fall are the best bets. Climbers will find the Interstate Homeless Camp about 0.3 miles away and the Granite Road area about 0.6 miles away. The Totoket Trail is about 1.2 miles off, and paddlers can reach the Hammonasset River about 8.4 miles away.
