Interstate Homeless Camp is a bouldering area in Connecticut, about 2 miles from the town of Stony Creek. It is a cluster of boulders rather than a single climb, and its routes run from V0- up to V3+ on the V scale, with most around V1. The Granite Road area and Geriatric Ward, both climbing areas, sit within a mile, and the Totoket Trail is about 1.4 miles away. The boulders here are all in one place, so the outing is compact. The Granite Road area is the closest neighbor at 0.4 miles, and Geriatric Ward is 0.6 miles away. For a longer outing, the Totoket Trail and the Westwoods (Cockaponset State Forest) climbing area are both about 1.6 miles off. The most comfortable months for a visit are late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in New Haven run from highs around 68°F in May to 75°F in September, with July the warmest at about 82°F.
