Georgetown is a climbing area in Colorado, sitting right beside the town of Georgetown, about 0.1 mile away. It is a compact spot with a small cluster of routes, and the closest neighbor is Inaugural Crag, about 0.3 mile off. The climbing here mixes bouldering and sport routes, with six routes in total. Three are boulders and three are sport, and the grades run from about V3 to V4 on the V scale and from 5.9 to 5.12a on the YDS scale. The sport routes include Every Which Way But Loose at 5.9, Project at 5.11c and Dirty Pool at 5.12a. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Georgetown show July highs around 77°F with lows near 49°F, while winter highs stay in the mid-30s. Other climbing is close by at Saxon Rock, about a mile away. Hikers can try the Laguna Beach Trail or the Anna Trail, both within about a mile and a quarter. For an overnight stay, West Chicago Creek Campground is roughly 2.8 miles away.
