The Halidome is a climbing area in the Clear Creek Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado. It sits within the national forest's boundaries, and the nearest town is Georgetown, about 4 miles away. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Georgetown weather station, at a similar elevation, run to highs around 77°F in July with lows near 49°F, while winter highs stay in the mid-30s. The closest climbing areas are Ra and Empire, each about 1.6 miles away. The Union Pass Trail and Bard Peak hikes are both about 2.1 miles off.
