Blue Sky is a mountain biking route in the Sulphur Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado, about 1.6 miles from the town of Hideaway Park. The Forest Service manages the land. The route is a short, low-elevation ride. It starts at about 9,059 feet and climbs to about 9,277 feet over 1.6 miles, with a total gain of 242 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 1.2 miles in, where the grade reaches 9 percent. The route also has a small loss of 287 feet, so it works well as a loop or a short addition to a longer ride. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Fraser weather station, which sits about 700 feet lower, show July highs around 77°F with lows near 38°F, while winter highs stay around 31°F. Vasquez Road, a climbing area, is just 0.2 miles away, and the D-4 and Chickadee mountain biking trails are within half a mile. Idlewild Campground is about 1.3 miles off.
