Wagon Wheel is a 9.9-mile out-and-back hike in the Flat Tops Wilderness, part of the Eagle Ranger District of Colorado's White River National Forest. The trail climbs from a low point of 9,073 feet to a high of 10,803 feet, with an elevation gain of 1,152 feet, and is rated moderate. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is open year-round. The route is natural-surfaced and allows horses, but bikes are not permitted. The parking area is at Budges Trailhead. For a longer outing, Blair Lake lies about 3 miles away, and Deep Lake Campground is about 4 miles off. Paddlers can reach the South Fork White River, roughly 5 miles away, and Meadow Ridge Campground is about 9 miles from the trail.
