Serenity is an easy hike of about 2.9 miles on natural trail in the Sulphur Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route is an out-and-back with a high point of about 9,180 feet and a low of about 8,970 feet. The trail is rated easy and climbs about 56 feet one way. It works well for a short outing, and it's open to both horses and bikes. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical July highs reach about 77°F with lows near 38°F, based on averages from a nearby weather station in Fraser. Winters are cold, with January highs around 31°F and lows near -1°F. Nearby, the Cross Country Revival and Green World mountain biking trails sit within half a mile. The B-Lot Boulder climbing area is about 0.8 miles away, and Idlewild Campground is about 1.1 miles away.
