Devils Causeway is an easy, out-and-back hike of about 2.6 miles in Colorado's Flat Tops Wilderness, within the Blanco Ranger District of the White River National Forest. The trail rises from a low point of about 11,610 feet to a high of about 11,845 feet, with a total elevation gain of about 207 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route is open year-round. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows horses, so it works well for riders as well as hikers. Bikes are not permitted. The climb is gentle, and the route is short enough to fit into a day of exploring the surrounding wilderness. Bear River is about 1.4 miles away, and North Derby is about 2.5 miles off. For an overnight stay, Cold Springs Campground and Horseshoe Campground are both within about 3 miles.
