Clark Point is an easy, out-and-back hike in the Rifle Ranger District of Colorado's White River National Forest, about 1.66 miles long with a total elevation gain of 239 feet. The trail runs from a low point of 8,561 feet to a high of 8,795 feet, and it is accessible, with a natural surface that allows horses and bikes. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is open year-round. It is a short, low-effort outing that works well as a quick stop or a way to stretch your legs before or after another outing in the area. Nearby, Last Chance Tie lies about 0.9 miles away and Last Chance about 1.5 miles away. For an overnight stay, Rifle Mountain Park campground is about 3.8 miles off, and climbers can head to Fortress of Solitude, roughly 4 miles away.
