Chambers Lake is a moderate hike of about 3.1 miles in the Canyon Lakes Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back with a low point of about 9,163 feet and a high of about 9,267 feet, and it gains about 100 feet of elevation one way. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at about 9,000 feet show July highs around 73°F with lows near 40°F, while winter highs stay around 30°F. The trail is on natural surface, and the Forest Service lists it as closed to bikes and horses. Chambers Lake Campground sits just 0.1 mile away, and Joe Wright Creek, a canoeing spot, is about half a mile off. Aspen Glen Campground is about 2.4 miles away, and the Blue Lake mountain biking trail is about 0.8 mile away.
