Brackenbury is a 4.2-mile out-and-back hike in Colorado's Comanche Peak Wilderness, within the Canyon Lakes Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests. The trail rises from about 10,955 feet to about 11,620 feet, a climb of 415 feet, and is rated moderate. The Forest Service manages the land. The route is natural-surfaced and allows horses, and bikes are not permitted. It is open year-round, so it works for a visit in any season. Comanche Peak Trail lies about 1.5 miles away, and Mirror Lake is about 1.6 miles off. For an overnight stay, Long Draw Campground is about 4.4 miles away, and Aspen Glen Campground is about 6.2 miles away.
