Camp Lake Loop is a 4.3-mile out-and-back hike in the Rawah Wilderness, on the Canyon Lakes Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado. The route runs between a low of about 10,471 feet and a high of about 10,558 feet, and the climb is gentle, with a total elevation gain of about 67 feet, making it a moderate walk. The trail is on natural surface and is open year-round. Horses are allowed, but bikes are not. The Forest Service manages the land, and the loop lies within designated wilderness. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. At a nearby weather station, typical July averages run to a high of 74°F and a low of 43°F, and temperatures at the high point run cooler than that station's figures. Winter is cold, with typical highs around 31°F from December through February. Nearby, Camp Lake and Upper Camp Lake are mountain biking areas within about a mile and a quarter. Tunnel Campground is about 2.8 miles away, and Stematron Boulder offers climbing at roughly 2.3 miles.
