Ouray RV Park is a campground in the Ouray Ranger District of the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests in Colorado. It sits within the town of Ouray, and its location makes it a convenient base for exploring the surrounding trails, climbing and river access. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Ouray run to highs around 76°F in June and 80°F in July, with July and August also bringing the most wet days of the year, about 15 each month. Winter is cold, with January highs near 36°F and lows around 16°F. The park is close to several outdoor spots. The Silvershield Trail starts just 0.1 mile away, and the Uncompahgre River Walk is about 0.2 mile off.
