Sacred Land is a bouldering area in Joshua Tree National Park in California, managed by the National Park Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Headstone Base Area, Headstone Rock and Facet Boulder all about 0.1 mile away, and Ryan Campground Bouldering about 0.2 mile off. The area is a short walk from Ryan Ranch Trailhead, which is about 0.4 mile away. The climbing here is all bouldering, with seven routes on record, ranging from V0 to V6. The easiest are Sacred Land and Coyote, both V0, and the hardest is Arrowhead Undercling Yabo at V6. The Ceremonial Campus Problem is a V2. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Yucca Valley show April highs around 73°F and October highs around 80°F, while July and August average about 96°F. That station sits roughly 1,100 feet lower than the park's higher ground, so temperatures at Sacred Land run cooler. A fee is charged for park use.
