The Peanut Gallery is a climbing area in California's Tahoe National Forest, within the Truckee Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits among several other climbing spots, with Southeast Wall and Space Wall each about 0.1 mile away. The climbing here is a small cluster of routes, with three in total. Two are trad routes, and one is a sport route. The grades run from 5.6 to 5.9+, with A Face In The Crowd at 5.9 and Tumbling Turmoil at 5.9+. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 82°F with lows near 44°F, and only about two wet days that month. That station sits roughly 700 feet lower than the area, so temperatures at the wall run cooler. The Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail #2000 and the Donner Summit Lakes Trail are both within a mile. Milton Reservoir, about 1.7 miles away, offers fishing, and Granite Flat campground is about 6 miles off.
