Last Temptation Cliff is a climbing area in Castle Rock State Park in California, managed by State Park and Recreation. It sits among several other climbing spots and trails, so it works well as one stop in a day of exploring the park's rock and hiking routes. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 81°F with only about one wet day a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-50s and rain on roughly half the days. Klinghoffers, Billy Goat Rock and Waterfall Cliff are all climbing areas about 0.1 mile away, and the Ridge Trail is a hike at the same distance. For a longer outing, the Saratoga Gap Trail lies about 0.3 mile off.
