Gravity Wall is a climbing area in California's Jacumba Wilderness, managed by the Bureau of Land Management's El Centro Field Office. It sits within the wilderness, and the surrounding land is overseen by the BLM. The area is a cluster of climbing spots, with Patina Wall, Sundagger Wall and Border Bowls Boulder all about 0.1 mile away. The Fortress is about 0.4 mile off. The climbing here is a mix of sport and trad routes, with grades ranging from 5.10a to 5.13a. Among the routes are Best Crack in the Moon, a 5.10a trad climb, and Jack in the House, a 5.13a sport route. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Campo run from highs around 69°F in April to 78°F in October, while July and August average highs in the low 90s. That station sits about 1,165 feet lower than the wall, so temperatures on the rock run cooler. For a change from climbing, Old Corral Trail is about 6 miles away.
