Razorback is a short, moderate mountain biking climb in California's Tahoe National Forest, within the Truckee Ranger District. The route is an out-and-back that gains about 29 feet over a little under half a mile, from a low point of 7,357 feet to a high of 7,403 feet. The Forest Service manages the land. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 82°F with lows near 44°F and only about two wet days in the month. That station sits roughly 1,500 feet lower than the climb, so temperatures on the trail run cooler. The Walter and Esther Hewlett Royal Gorge Rim Trail and the Bogus Basin mountain biking area both lie about 0.2 miles away. Power Line Boulder and Milton Reservoir are each about 1.2 miles off.
