Lower Lola Montez Trail is a mountain biking route in the Truckee Ranger District of Tahoe National Forest in California. The trail is about a quarter mile long and rises roughly 200 feet from a low point at 6,527 feet to a high at 6,748 feet. It is an out-and-back with a one-way climb of about 0.25 miles. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Sagehen Creek show July highs around 80°F with lows near 37°F, while winter highs sit in the upper 30s to low 40s. The Lower Lola Montez hike starts about 0.1 mile away. Hole in the Ground, a mountain biking spot, is about 1.3 miles off. Lower Castle Creek offers canoeing at about 1.5 miles, and Castle Peak is a climbing area about 1.9 miles away.
