Seven Lakes Point Loop is a short, easy hike of about 0.8 miles in the Mammoth Ranger District of Inyo National Forest in California, managed by the Forest Service. It is an out-and-back route with a one-way elevation gain of about 356 feet, taking you from a low point of roughly 9,143 feet to a high of about 9,522 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Tuolumne Meadows put July highs around 71°F with lows near 38°F, and the trail sits a few hundred feet higher than that station, so temperatures on the loop run slightly cooler. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows bikes, and it is not an accessible route. Twin Lakes Campground and the Panorama Dome Mtn Bike Spur are both about half a mile away. The Mammoth Mountain-Mammoth Pass Trail lies about 0.4 miles off, and the climbing area at Dog Boulder is about 0.9 miles away.
