Sequoia Grove is a moderate, out-and-back hike in California's Sequoia National Forest, within the Western Divide Ranger District. It covers about 2 miles, rising from 5,098 feet to 5,962 feet. The Forest Service manages the surrounding land, and the trail is open year-round. The trail's natural surface allows horses and bikes, which makes it a versatile option for riders and pack animals. Because it is an out-and-back route, the total elevation gain of 846 feet is for the full trip. Several other hikes lie close by. Deer Creek is about 0.7 miles away, and Frog Meadow is 1.4 miles off. For an overnight stay, Leavis Flat Campground is about 3.6 miles from the trail.
