Grizzly Scramble is a 2-mile out-and-back hike in the Trinity Alps Wilderness, part of the Big Bar Ranger District of Shasta-Trinity National Forest in northern California. The trail climbs about 1,140 feet from a low point of 6,168 feet to a high of 7,330 feet, and it is rated moderate. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route is on natural surface with no designated bike access. The hike is open year-round, and the surrounding wilderness makes it a destination for a full day in the backcountry. The climb is a steady one, and the trail's length and elevation gain make it a good choice for a shorter outing in the high country. Nearby, Sapphire Scramble and Papooose Scramble are both about 3 miles away, and Bear Valley Meadow is a similar distance. For an overnight stay, Big Flat Campground sits about 7 miles off.
