Bear Valley Meadow is a 2-mile out-and-back hike in the Trinity Alps Wilderness, part of the Big Bar Ranger District of Shasta-Trinity National Forest in northern California. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is rated easy, with a one-way climb of about 1,160 feet from a low point of roughly 5,427 feet to a high of about 6,613 feet. The route is on natural surface, and bikes are not allowed. The climb is steady, so plan for a moderate effort over the course of the hike. Papooose Scramble starts just 0.1 mile away, and Rattlesnake Creek, a canoeing spot, is about 2 miles off. Bobs Farm and Grizzly Scramble are both within about 3 miles.
