Granite Creek is a hard hike in the Trinity Alps Wilderness, part of the Weaverville Ranger District of Shasta-Trinity National Forest in northern California. The route is an out-and-back that climbs from about 4,800 feet to roughly 7,100 feet, with a total elevation gain of 2,312 feet over 9.2 miles. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is natural-surfaced and open year-round. Horses are allowed, but bikes are not. That makes it a ride for pack animals rather than mountain bikes. The trail starts close to several other routes. Milk Ranch is about 0.4 miles away, and North Fork Coffee Creek Trail and Saloon Creek are each about 0.7 miles off. For an overnight base, Goldfield Campground is about 6.4 miles away.
