Center Basin is a challenging 1.44-mile out-and-back trail in California that rewards adventurous hikers with access to a remote alpine destination. This difficult route connects to both the legendary John Muir Trail and the Bubbs Creek Trail, making it an excellent link for backpackers exploring the High Sierra trail system.
