Wyandotte (Family Campground) is a Forest Service campground in the Feather River Ranger District of Plumas National Forest in California, about 13 miles from the Strawberry Valley weather station. It has 30 campsites, 12 of which are reservable, and two are double sites. The site has paved roads, flush toilets, water and trash service, and a seasonal host. Each campsite has a picnic table, fire ring and paved parking pad. Summer is the driest and warmest stretch. Typical averages from the nearby Strawberry Valley station show July and August highs around 85°F with only about one wet day a month, while winter months bring highs near 50°F and roughly 12 wet days. That station sits about 1,300 feet lower than the campground, so temperatures at Wyandotte run cooler. Fishing, day hiking, nature viewing and water recreation are among the local attractions. Peninsula Tent (family Campground) is just 0.3 miles away, and the Lakeshore Trail is 0.4 miles off. Little Grass Valley Reservoir Recreation Area is 0.8 miles away, and the Bald Mountain Trail is 1.9 miles away.
