Niagara Creek Campground is a Forest Service site in the mixed conifer forest of the Summit Ranger District of Stanislaus National Forest, about 15 miles from the Summit Ranger Station. It sits on Forest Road 5N01, which you reach by turning right off Highway 108 at Eagle Meadow Road. The campground has 10 sites, each with a table and a fire ring. The main road and parking pads are dirt-surfaced. Potable water is not available, and the toilets are vault-style. A fee is charged for extra vehicle parking. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Bridgeport weather station show July highs around 85°F with lows near 43°F, while winter brings highs in the mid-40s and a few snow days a month from December through February. The Middle Fork Stanislaus River and the Ancient Dwarves I.T. hike both lie about 0.2 miles away. Pump Rocks, a climbing area, is about 1.1 miles off, and Donnell Reservoir offers lake fishing roughly 1.7 miles away.
