White Rock Mtn Rim Loop is a 1.7-mile loop hike in the Boston Mountain Ranger District of the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest in Arkansas, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is rated easy, with a total elevation gain of 104 feet, and it sits at about 2,200 feet, with the high point reaching 2,281 feet. The route is a loop, and the steepest stretch comes at about the 1-mile mark, where the grade reaches 15%. The trail surface is natural, and the Forest Service records show no allowance for bikes or horses. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 66°F in April to 68°F in October, while July and August average in the mid-80s. White Rock Campground is just 0.2 miles away, and the White Rock Mountain Rim Trail and the Ozark Highlands Trail are both within half a mile. Shores Lake Campground is about 3 miles off.
