Pedestal Rock Trail is a 4.5-mile moderate hike in the Bayou Ranger District of the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest in Arkansas, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is natural-surfaced and not accessible, and it does not allow bikes or horses. The route starts at about 1,830 feet and reaches a high point of 1,866 feet, with the steepest stretch at about 1.2 miles in, where the grade reaches 18%. The total climb is 264 feet one way. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Deer, AR, run to highs around 70°F in May and 65°F in October, while July and August average in the low 80s.
