Village of Oak Creek is a climbing area in the Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among the mountain biking trails that make up the Sugarloaf Trailhead network, and Castle Towers lies about 1.4 miles away. The climbing here draws both sport and trad climbers, with grades ranging from 5.9 to 5.11+. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Sedona weather station show October highs around 79°F and April highs around 75°F, while June and July average in the mid-90s. Six routes are listed, including two sport routes, Turkey Trot at 5.9 and Fall Harvest at 5.10a. Among the trad options are Cat Caught Your Tongue at 5.10 and Bobcat Spire at 5.10+, and the hardest is Caruncle at 5.11+. The closest neighbors are Del Sol Tracks at half a mile and Transept at about a mile. Castle Towers and Crescent Moon Ramada are within a few miles for more climbing or an overnight stay.
