Sky Valley is a climbing area in Arizona's Coronado National Forest, within the Santa Catalina Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits close to the Incinerator Ridge trailhead, making it a natural stop for climbers and riders in the district. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Mt Lemmon Willow Canyon weather station show May highs around 71°F and October highs around 68°F, with temperatures running a bit cooler at Sky Valley because the station sits about 560 feet lower. The climbing here is all sport, with 19 routes ranging from 5.8- up to 5.12b. Among them are Exposure in the Making (5.8-), Chain Lightning (5.10b) and Serial Driller (5.12b). Boneyard, Red Diamond Wall and Gumby Wall all lie within about 0.2 miles, and the Incinerator Ridge trailhead offers mountain biking right next door.
