Lake Mary Areas is a climbing area in Arizona's Coconino National Forest, within the Forest Service's Flagstaff Ranger District. It sits in a cluster of bouldering spots with several other climbing areas close by, making it a compact base for a day of rock. The area is made up of five bouldering routes, all rated on the V scale from V1-2 up to V6. The warmest of them, Donnybrook, is a V2 with a first ascent by Andrew McClure, while Backwards to Sunset is the hardest at V6. The other routes include Warm up 1 and Warm up 2, both V2, and Unknown at V5-6. The most comfortable time to visit runs from late spring into early fall. Typical averages from the nearby Flagstaff Pulliam airport weather station show May highs around 68°F and October highs around 64°F, with July and August bringing the most wet days of the year. Several climbing areas and hikes lie within a mile, including Nose Rock and The Shooting Gallery, and the Canyon Vista and Sandys Canyon hikes. Marshall Lake offers fishing about 4 miles away.
