The Bat Roof is a climbing area in the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of bouldering spots, with Anorexic Roof and Monster Roof each about 0.2 miles away. The area is a bouldering destination, with seven routes on record, six of them boulders and one sport route. The boulders range from V1 to V7, with the sport route rated at 5.11d. The most notable are Dynamic Duo at V6 and The Underachiever at V7, and the Bat Cave at V3+. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Flagstaff show May highs around 68°F and October highs around 64°F, while July and August bring the most wet days, about 11 to 13 a month. Canyon Vista and Seminary are both about 3 miles away for hiking, and Lake Mary Recreation Corridor is about 4 miles off for fishing. Lakeview campground is roughly 7 miles away.
