The Havens climbing area sits in the Santa Catalina Ranger District of Coronado National Forest, about half a mile from the town of Summerhaven, Arizona. The Forest Service manages the land. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Mt Lemmon Willow Canyon show May highs around 71°F and October highs around 68°F, with lows near 50°F. That station sits about 900 feet lower than the Havens, so temperatures at the climbing area run cooler. Several other climbing spots are close by. Aspen Trail Boulders is about 0.1 mile away and Sloth Slab about 0.3 mile. Ronald's Chasm is about 0.4 mile off, and North Sabino Canyon Park is about 0.4 mile away for hiking.
