Monster Roof is a bouldering area in the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Anorexic Roof about 0.1 mile away and The Bat Roof about 0.2 mile away. The area has seven bouldering routes, all rated from V1 to V7 on the V scale. The hardest is Move N' Groove Barbie at V7, and Thin Man at V5 was first climbed by Jim Symans. The routes are all boulders, so there is no rope climbing here. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Flagstaff show May highs around 68°F and October highs around 64°F, while July and August bring the most wet days, about 11 to 13 a month. Nearby, the Seminary and Canyon Vista hikes are both about 3 miles away. Lake Mary Recreation Corridor and Marshall Lake, both about 4.5 miles off, offer fishing.
