Barnum Rock is a climbing area in the Santa Catalina Ranger District of Coronado National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing and riding spots, with Gumby Wall just 0.1 mile away and Boneyard and Sky Valley each about 0.2 mile off. Rose Canyon campground is 0.5 mile away. The area has 22 routes, mostly sport climbing with a few trad and mixed options. Grades run from 5.6 up to 5.10a, with the median around 5.7+. Among the named routes are Accidental Tourist at 5.6, Le Cirque at 5.10a, and Pizz Whiz, a mixed climb at 5.8+. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Mt Lemmon Willow Canyon show May highs around 71°F and October highs around 68°F, while winter highs sit near 50°F.
