Agave Spires Area is a climbing area in Arizona's Santa Catalina Ranger District, part of Coronado National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing areas within a short distance of one another, with Sandwich Spire West Face (New York Deli Wall) about 0.1 mile away and Turret Rock and Environs about 0.2 mile away. The area offers a small but varied selection of routes. Three are listed, two of them sport routes and one a trad route. Grades range from 5.10 to 5.13-, with "Pitfalls of Hesitation" at 5.10 as a trad route and "Children of the Revolution" at 5.13- as a sport route. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to climb. Typical averages from the Mt Lemmon Willow Canyon weather station, about 1.9 miles away, show May highs around 71°F and October highs around 68°F, with temperatures at the climbing area running cooler than at that station.
