Beaver Wall is a climbing area in the Santa Catalina Ranger District of Coronado National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among several other named climbing areas, including South Fin, North Fin and The Gallery, all about a tenth of a mile away, which makes it easy to pair with them on a single visit. The climbing here is a mix of sport and trad routes, with 15 sport routes and 6 trad routes among the 21 listed. The YDS grade range runs from 5.7 to 5.14a, with the median at 5.12c. Sport climbers will find sport routes like Zschiesche's Problem and Chains in the Grove [Var] at the higher end of the scale, while trad climbers can try Vistacruiser at 5.7. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Mt Lemmon Willow Canyon weather station, about 1.7 miles away, show May highs around 71°F with lows near 51°F, and October highs around 68°F with lows near 49°F. The station sits roughly 540 feet lower than the climbing area, so temperatures up high run cooler. Beyond the climbing, the area also draws mountain bikers and hikers. Bug Springs Trail is about 1.7 miles away, and Rose Canyon Lake is about 1.5 miles away. Gordon Hirabayashi Campground, about 2 miles away, offers a place to stay.
