North Fin is a climbing area in Arizona's Coronado National Forest, within the Santa Catalina Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land. The area sits among several other climbing spots. South Fin and The Gallery are each about 0.1 mile away, and Swim Fin is the same distance. That makes it easy to pair with a day on the other fins. The climbing here is a mix of trad and sport routes, with the YDS grades ranging from 5.7 to 5.13c. Trad routes include Slippery When Wet at 5.7 and My Mother the Rock at 5.10a. Sport routes run from Bring on the Atheists at 5.11- to Genevive at 5.13c. For a change of pace, Bug Springs Trail is about 1.8 miles away, Gordon Hirabayashi Campground is about 2 miles away, and Rose Canyon Lake offers mountain biking about 1.6 miles off.
