Raspberry is a long, steep out-and-back hike in Arizona's Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, on the Clifton Ranger District. The trail stretches 19 miles, rising from about 5,029 feet to 7,826 feet. It is a Forest Service route, and it is rated hard. The Raspberry Trailhead (#35) sits about 0.1 mile from Strayhorse Campground, the closest place to camp. The trail is open year-round and is natural-surfaced, with horses allowed. It is not an accessible trail. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Alpine show May highs around 69°F and October highs around 64°F, while July and August bring the most wet days, about 13 to 15 a month. Nearby, the Mckittrick and Blue Cabin Ruins hikes are both about 0.8 mile away. Kp Cienega Campground is about 2.8 miles off, and Aker Lake Fishing Site is roughly 4.6 miles away.
