Jojoba is an easy, 2.4-mile out-and-back hike in the Cave Creek Ranger District of Tonto National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows bikes, and the climb is gentle, with a high point of 1,891 feet and a low of 1,802 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Fountain Hills weather station show March highs around 74°F and November highs around 74°F, while June and July average in the low 100s. Palo Verde is a hike about 0.8 miles away, and Riverside Campground and Bartlett Flat are both within about 3 miles. The Central Arizona climbing area is roughly 6 miles off.
