Crossover is an easy, 2.1-mile out-and-back hike in the Springerville Ranger District of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests in eastern Arizona. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail sits at about 7,500 feet, with a low point of 7,464 feet and a high of 7,563 feet. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows both horses and bikes. It is not an accessible trail. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Springerville weather station show May highs around 76°F and October highs around 70°F, while July and August bring the most wet days, about 12 each month. The Homestead and Power Line mountain biking routes start within half a mile, and the Murray Basin Trail is about 1.6 miles away.
