Apache Vista is a 2.5-mile hike in the Springerville Ranger District of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests in eastern Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. The trail rises about 74 feet from a low point of 8,947 feet to a high of 9,019 feet, making it a short, moderate outing with a low climb. The route is natural-surfaced and open to bikes, and it is not an accessible trail. The Point of the Mountain Trailhead is the parking for the hike, and the trail is open year-round. Plan on about an hour for the trip. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from the nearby Greer weather station run to highs around 66°F in May and 70°F in September, while July and August bring the most wet days, about 14 and 16, and the station sits roughly 740 feet lower than the trail's high point. South Fork and the Overland Connector both lie about a mile away, and Benny Creek Campground is about 5.7 miles off.
