About this water
Picturesque Navajo Lake was originally know to the piute Indians as Pa-cu-ay, meaining "Clound Lake." The lake came into being when a lava flow dammed the eastern end of the valley. Boating, swiming and fishing are popular activities at Navajo Lake. There are approximately 120 improved campsites near the lake.
