Lake Florence is a fishing lake in Utah's Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, within the Salt Lake Ranger District and the Twin Peaks Wilderness. The Forest Service manages the land, and the lake sits among a cluster of other lakes and trails in this corner of the forest. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Alta show July highs around 73°F with lows near 50°F, while winter highs stay around 30°F. Lake Lillian and Lake Blanche both lie within a quarter mile, so anglers can easily pair visits to more than one lake. The Wasatch Mine Trail and Mineral Fork Trail are each about a mile away for a hike, and Tanners Flat Campground is roughly 2.3 miles off for an overnight stay.
