The Seminoe Mountains climbing area sits in Wyoming, about 0.7 miles from the town of Seminoe Dam, on land managed by the Bureau of Reclamation. It is a compact crag with three routes, and the Dam Area climbing area is just half a mile away. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run to highs around 75°F in June and 84°F in July, with lows in the mid-50s. Winters are harsh, with January highs near 31°F and lows around 14°F. The routes here cover a range of styles and grades. Dome of Plates is a sport route at 5.10. Seminoe Sam is a trad route at 5.10b/c, and Endless Bummer is a mixed route at 5.11c/d. The North Platte River offers river fishing about 1.5 miles away, and Seminoe Reservoir is roughly 6 miles off. Sage Creek, a canoeing spot, is about 7 miles away.
