Dome Rock/Pedro Mountains is a climbing area in Wyoming on Bureau of Land Management land within the Rawlins Field Office. It is a bouldering and trad climbing destination with 10 routes, and the bouldering dominates, with seven boulder problems and three trad routes. The bouldering runs from V2- up to V8-9, with the hardest route, Snow Bound Patriot, at V8-9. The trad routes sit in the 5.7 to 5.13b range. Among the boulder problems, Learning Curve was first climbed by Mike Ranta, and Rendering My Faith and Monolith were first climbed by Danny Baker. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 84°F and lows near 57°F, while winter highs stay around 31°F. Sage Creek, a canoeing spot, lies about 4 miles away.
