Foreign Territory is a climbing area in the Laramie Ranger District of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest in Wyoming, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among several other named climbing spots, with The Bunker and The Schoolyard each about 0.1 mile away, and Boat Rock a similar distance off. The area has seven climbing routes, mostly trad, with one sport route, and grades run from 5.5 up to 5.12-. The hardest route is Nasty Crack at 5.12-, and Japan Club at 5.10d has a first ascent from 1983. The Great Gapsby and Topside The Daisies are 5.10a. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical July averages from a nearby weather station in Laramie run to a high of 81°F and a low of 52°F, and the station sits about 800 feet below the climbing area, so expect temperatures here to run a bit cooler. Vedauwoo Campground is about 2 miles away, and Regolith Trail and Green Mountain Trail are both roughly 0.7 mile off.
