Trail Creek is an easy out-and-back hike in Wyoming's Bridger-Teton National Forest, within the Greys River Ranger District. The trail runs about 10.9 miles, with a low point of 5,786 feet and a high of 7,960 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trailhead is at East Table Creek Trailhead, which is open year round. The route is rated easy, with a total elevation gain of about 69 feet. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows both horses and bikes, so it works for riders and pack animals as well as hikers. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Bondurant, which sits about 1,200 feet lower, show July and August highs around 80°F with lows near 40°F. Winter is cold, with January highs in the mid-20s. Station Creek Campground and the Station Creek hike are both within about a mile and a half. The Elk Mountain Lookout Spur is about 0.7 miles away. Climbers can find The Goat Cave about 4.6 miles off.
